Devilman, Amon, and Zennon are featured in the band's music video of 'When My Devil Rises'. After uniting with Amon, Akira begins to fight against the demons with his newfound power, desperate to stop the downfall of all human civilization. Together they form Devilman, a combination of Amons strength and Akiras pure heart. At the same time as the manga's publishing the company Toei was airing an anime series set entirely in its own universe for up to 39 episodes. A near-death encounter causes him to unify with Amon, a demon feared amongst even his own kind. ABOUT THE MANGA The original Devilman was an adaptation and remake of Nagai's previous work Demon Lord Dante, and was first published in 1972.
